Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar – Barkot (345 km / 9 hrs)
Depart early from Delhi by cab. En route, stop at Haridwar for a short break or visit Har Ki Pauri if time allows. Continue driving toward Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. Check-in at Barkot and relax overnight.
Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 km drive + 6 km trek)
Drive to Janki Chatti and begin the scenic 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund and perform puja. After darshan, trek back and return to Barkot. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (85 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, leave for Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit the sacred Vishwanath Temple. Check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km one way)
Drive to Gangotri Temple, the origin point of the Ganga River. On the way, enjoy Himalayan views and picturesque valleys. After darshan and rituals at the temple, return to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)
Leave early for Guptkashi. Enroute admire the beautiful landscapes and hill roads. On arrival, visit Ardhnareshwar Temple if time permits. Overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 km drive + 18 km trek)
Drive to Gaurikund. Begin the trek to Kedarnath Temple on foot or by pony/palki. After darshan at one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, stay overnight at Kedarnath (basic accommodation).
Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi – Badrinath (Trek + 190 km)
Return trek to Gaurikund and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. On arrival, visit Tapt Kund and Badrinath Temple. Attend evening aarti. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 8: Badrinath – Rishikesh – Delhi (540 km / 13 hrs)
Early morning darshan at Badrinath. Begin the return journey via Rishikesh, where you can stop to visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Continue onward to Delhi, ending your memorable Char Dham Yatra with blessings and peace.
